Slug Pellet Code
In recognition of the fact that 77% of British gardeners who actively take some form of slug control in their gardens use slug pellets, Bio has teamed up with Royal Society for the Protection of Birds to develop the slug pellet code – simple advice to bring of mind and reassurance that when used correctly, Bio SLUG & SNAIL KILLER poses no threat to non-target species.
Bio SLUG & SNAIL KILLER pellets are deliberately coloured blue to deter birds and contain a bittering agents to discourage animals from eating them. Pellets are also shower-proof so they will continue to protect plants for days after application.

The Slug Pellet Code of Conduct It is essential that slug pellets are sprinkled thinly on the soil and around the plants being protected. Ideally, pellets should be 10-15cm apart. USE AND STORE SLUG PELLETS WISELY. Welcomed by the RSPB. |
